HAPO visits the Filiates and Igoumenitsa Municipalities’ Social Markets.
The Hellenic Aquaculture Producers Organization (HAPO) supports the Social Markets of the Filiates and Igoumenitsa Municipalities every month, by offering fresh Greek farmed fish for the needs of the beneficiaries. In this context, the General Secretary of HAPO Mr. Ioannis Hekimoglu, the Director of Marketing and Communication, Ismini Bogdanou and HAPO Members operating in the prefecture of Thesprotia, Eleftherios Lionis and Stefanos Dimas, were present for the monthly distribution, on Tuesday, June 15.
They congratulated the organizers for their work and valuable contribution to the local community and were informed on existing needs and problems, pledging their solid support. Also present were the Vice Mayors of Filiates, Michalis Pantazakos and Eleni Efthimiou and the Vice Mayor of Igoumenitsa, Vasiliki Tsotou.
HAPO, whose Members operate in 11 out of 13 Regional Prefectures in Greece, holds a dynamic role in enhancing the prosperity of several areas in Greece with a series of socially responsible actions that focus on increasing the quality of living for people in need. At the same time, Greek aquaculture creates employment opportunities even in remote areas in Greece, employing 12,000 people, both directly and indirectly.
