Blue is the new green

Ismini Bogdanou, Director of Communication and Public Relations for HAPO was invited to Athenais Nega’s podcast “Blue is the new green” to represent Greek fish farming in an out-of-the-box discussion.

What is the difference between aquaculture fish and a wild fish? Doe Greeks really know much about fish?

What makes us think that aquaculture fish are of questionable quality?

These and many more questions were discussed and answered in the “Fish Farming: Fields Full of Fish” episode of the popular podcast.

Stefanos Dimas, representative of the new generation of fish farmers in Thesprotia, and Dr. Konstantinos Mylonas, Director of the Institute of Marine Biology, Biotechnology and Aquaculture of ELKETHE, also participated in these discussions.

The aim was to open another channel of communication with the public, to inform them about the value of Greek Aquaculture and its products, which of course was achieved in a pleasant and original way.
