For the third consecutive year, the Hellenic Aquaculture Producers Organization (HAPO) awarded its Excellence Awards to outstanding students of the Master’s Programme “Mediterranean Aquaculture” at the Department of Ichthyology and Aquatic Environment, University of Thessaly.
During the celebratory ceremony, HAPO representatives Ismini Bogdanou, Director of Communications & Public Relations, and Katerina Lytra, Scientific Director, presented scholarships to Ypapanti Pantazi, Iliana Kapenekaki, Symela Savvidou, and Theodoros Doulamis, who achieved outstanding academic performance in the programme.
The event was introduced by Professor Dr. Panagiota Panagiotaki, Director of the Master’s Programme.
In addition, the Department honoured Dr. Eleni Miliou, Professor of Applied Hydrobiology at the Agricultural University of Athens, for her long-standing contribution to research in Greek aquaculture.
