Tuesday 18 – Wednesday 19 – A successful and inspiring two-day educational visit was completed, co-organized by Innovation Norway and HAPO (Hellenic Aquaculture Producers Organization), marking a new chapter of collaboration between Greece and Norway — two countries with long coastlines and a strong tradition in aquaculture.
The first day was dedicated to presentations by Norwegian companies, showcasing advanced technologies and services to Greek producers, with a focus on digitalization and sustainability in the sector.
On the second day, participants visited an aquaculture facility in Astakos, gaining firsthand insight into Greek farming practices, technological advancements, and innovations in processing and logistics. Visitors saw up close how fresh Greek farmed fish reach consumers with top-tier quality.
HAPO remains committed to international cooperation and knowledge exchange, aiming for an even more innovative and sustainable aquaculture sector.
