Greek Aquaculture at the heart of the new European Campaign

Tueaday 25 March- Today in Brussels, the European Commissioner for Fisheries, Oceans and the Sea, Mr. Kostas Kadis, officially announced the launch of the #EUaquaculture campaign, a new pan-European initiative aimed at promoting European aquaculture.

Greece proudly takes part in this important campaign through Ms. Anna Kaloumenou, who represents the new generation of Greek producers and has been selected as the ambassador of Greek aquaculture for the campaign.

Anna’s selection is a great honor for the sector and a recognition of Greece’s ongoing efforts in sustainability, innovation, and the production of high-quality fish. Her presence at the forefront of the EU’s aquaculture promotion sends a strong message about the future and potential of Greek aquaculture on a European scale.

With pride and optimism, we follow the progress of this campaign, which highlights the role of aquaculture in sustainable nutrition and its contribution to supporting local economies.
