HAPO present at Delphi School 2026, Delphi Economic Forum

Athens, Friday 22 May 2026​

Mrs. Katerina Lytra (Scientific Director of HAPO) and Mrs. Ismini Bogdanou (Director of Communications & Public Relations) represented the Hellenic Aquaculture Producers Organization (HAPO) at the event organized by the Centre for Research and Education in Public Health of the Academy of Athens (KEEDY), titled “Delphi School 2026.”​

​The event was structured around two sessions:​

  • Report from the participation of the Academy of Athens and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in The Delphi Forum XI – Delphi School 2026: From Science to Policy​
  • Challenges in Local Food Production: The Case of Messinia​

The event, which took place in the East Hall of the Academy of Athens, was opened with introductory remarks by Dr. Antonia Trichopoulou, Academician.​

​The Delphi School 2026 is an interdisciplinary initiative jointly organized by the Centre for Research and Education in Public Health of the Academy of Athens (KEEDY) and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, in collaboration with the Delphi Economic Forum and the newspaper Kathimerini.​

​The program focuses on the critical interconnections between public health, climate change, and food systems, with particular emphasis on Healthy Ageing. It is designed for policymakers, senior executives, and professionals involved in decision-making processes who require concise, evidence-based, and actionable knowledge to address complex contemporary challenges.
