Wednesday, November 20 & Friday, November 22 – HAPO, in collaboration with the Agricultural University of Athens, organized and sponsored the Educational Seminar on Greek Aquaculture.
On November 20, 2024, participants visited the production and packaging facilities of Philosofish in Boeotia. There, they had the opportunity to witness firsthand the production process in one of the largest companies in the industry. On November 22, 2024, the educational seminar titled “Greek Aquaculture: From Production to Packaging” was held at the Auditorium of the Library of the Agricultural University of Athens. The event was organized and funded by HAPO. The seminar covered the entire spectrum of production and packaging for farmed fish in Greek aquaculture, with presentations by distinguished scientists in the field.The seminar was led by Assistant Professor Dr. Arkadios Dimitroglou, from the Chair of Farmed Fish Nutrition at the Agricultural University of Athens. HAPO continues to support initiatives that highlight the importance of education for the sustainable development of Greek aquaculture!
