From France to Fokida? Yes, indeed!
The high level of Greek aquaculture in research, technology, and innovation attracted the interest of students from the French College of Agriculture & Animal Sciences, VetAgro Sup. On the initiative of the Hellenic Aquaculture Producers Organization (HAPO), the students visited the technologically advanced facilities of AVRAMAR in Managouli, where they observed the innovative R&D processes in selecting suitable fish for breeding. They then visited the facilities in Chiliadou, where they followed the early growth stages of the fish until they reached 3-4 grams, just before their transfer to offshore cages.
