Members of the Hellenic Aquaculture Producers Organization participated in the anniversary event celebrating the 50th anniversary of the European Aquaculture Society (EAS). Their participation provided an opportunity to learn about the latest developments in the aquaculture sector, exchange expertise and build partnerships with industry professionals and representatives of European organizations.
A major milestone for Greek aquaculture is the selection of Athens as the host city for the 51st edition of Aquaculture Europe 2027, which will take place in October 2027.
Hosting this prestigious event in Greece highlights the country’s position on the European aquaculture map and opens new opportunities to raise the profile of the Greek sector, strengthen its international outreach and foster new international partnerships.
